
Important Health Reminder for Incoming Seniors
This is a reminder that all incoming seniors must have their Meningococcal ACWY vaccine completed before the first day of school. This vaccine is required for enrollment and helps protect against serious meningococcal infections.
Check your immunization records:
Schedule an appointment with your healthcare provider if you need the vaccine
Submit proof of vaccination to the school health office

Contact the school nurse or your healthcare provider.



Tuesday, July 15, 2025 is our next food pick-up at the Ridgeview Campus. The parent/guardian food pick up is from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We have planned for more meals this time, but once all meals have been distributed the site will close. If a student is not enrolled in Dickenson County Public Schools, a form will need to be filled out on site. Students must be 18 years or younger.

Dickenson County Public Schools first summer food distribution will be on Monday, July 7th between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. The meal packs will consist of 8 breakfast and 8 lunches with a gallon of milk.
Please look for signs and the tent when you enter the Ridgeview Campus.
This is for any child ages 3-18 regardless if they are enrolled in DCPS schools or not. If a child is not enrolled, there will be a form that will need to be filled out which includes the child's name and name of adult picking up the meals.
First Come, first Served-We will give out until we run out!

Graduation will be tomorrow, May 23, 2025 at 6:00 PM in the Ridgeview High School gym. Doors will open to the public at 4:30. Graduates need to be in the cafeteria to line up by 5:15.

Senior Awards are Thursday, May 22nd. Seniors will report directly to the cafeteria to line up for the awards ceremony.
Underclassmen awards Wednesday, May 28th.


Graduation practice will be held tomorrow, May 21 at 8:30 AM. Senior Breakfast will be held immediately following practice


This is a reminder that any RHS student who checked out a school device to use at home during Virtual Learning (including Chromebooks, laptops, etc.) must return those to Deana Lucas in the Middle School Library on or before Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Fees may be assessed for missing or lost devices.

On Wednesday, April 30, all RHS seniors will take the ASVAB test during the morning. Students will need a Chromebook to test.

The Virginia Department of Health will be on-site at RMS & RHS on Thursday, April 10, to provide the following school-required vaccinations for rising 7th-grade and 12th-grade students: Tdap, Meningococcal vaccine, & HPV. To Go Meals!!!
Ridgeview Elementary, Middle, and High School will have meals available for take home tomorrow February 13th for all students enrolled in Dickenson County Public Schools! These breakfast and lunch meals are sent ahead of any inclement weather virtual days. Please encourage your students to pick up these meals as they leave school. As always our fantastic cafeteria staff at each school THANK YOU for you support!!
