Parents and Guardians,
This is just a friendly reminder that as we continue to prioritize the safety of our students, we kindly ask for your support in reinforcing the importance of responsible language, particularly when discussing weapons.
Even casual or joking comments about weapons can have serious consequences. Such remarks can trigger alarms, disrupt the learning environment, and may lead to disciplinary action.
We encourage you to have an open conversation with your child about the potential impact of their words. Please remind them that:
Words matter: Every word has the power to influence others.
Safety first: School is a place for learning and growth, not for threats or intimidation.
Respectful communication: Always choose words that are kind and considerate.
By working together, we can create a safe and positive learning environment for all.
Thank you for your continued support and have a wonderful evening.

Parents and Guardians,
This is a friendly reminder about procedures for morning parent drop-off. Ensuring the safety of every child is our primary concern, and your help in this matter is greatly appreciated. We ask for your patience during morning drop-off.
To streamline the process, we ask that you kindly make use of both parent drop-off lanes as you initially enter the Ridgeview Elementary side of campus. The two-lane will reduce to a one-lane drop-off point near the school sidewalk area. This will help optimize the safety of students as they exit vehicles near the school sidewalk. Our school resource officers will be directing traffic to ensure traffic flow. School employees will be assisting children exit your vehicles. Thus, we ask for you to remain in your vehicle during morning drop-off.
If you prefer to personally walk your child into school, please park your vehicle in the designated parking lot. This will minimize traffic congestion and enable a safer environment for all pedestrians. Lastly, we kindly request that you remain vigilant of children and adults walking across the parent traffic lanes. Your watchful eye can make a significant difference in promoting safety during drop-off.
Thank you for your cooperation and continued dedication to our students' well-being at Ridgeview Elementary School.

Please join us at this family engagement!
