Annual Title 1 meeting February 27th at 4:30 to learn about Title 1 and other federal funds support learning initiatives and the needs of the school. All parents are invited to join and meet our Title 1 staff. Refreshments will be served.
Ridgeview Elementary tutoring will resume today Tuesday, February 25th and end at 5:30. It will also be held on Thursday, February 27th. From there on tutoring will resume it's regular schedule on Tuesday's and Thursday's weekly!

Just wanted to inform parents that Barter Theater will be coming to Ridgeview Middle School to present the play "The Ugly Duckling" on Thursday, February 20th, weather permitting. Teahers, aides and students will be walking over to attend the play.
Letter From Department of Health and Commonwealth of Virginia regarding Kindergarten registration and immunizations. A copy of this will also be available in the the office at Ridgeview Elementary if you want one. You can also get a copy when you enroll your child for Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year with us.

Ridgeview Elementary, Middle, and High School will have meals available for take home tomorrow February 13th for all students enrolled in Dickenson County Public Schools! These breakfast and lunch meals are sent ahead of any inclement weather virtual days. Please encourage your students to pick up these meals as they leave school. As always our fantastic cafeteria staff at each school THANK YOU for you support!!
Tomorrow Wednesday February 12 we will be on a 2 hour delay. For kindness week it is "Team up for Kindness" Wear wolf pack or your favorite sports team gear. Kindness act is to put some ones chair up for them! We would also like to let parents know some important reminders about Valentine deliveries. They are to be made on Friday February 14th. They can't be made, and will not be accepted until 1:30 p.m. No glass vases or balloons will be allowed on buses. Please keep in mind the nature and size of the gifts, especially for those riding buses. Students will receive their deliveries right before dismissal. Thank you.

National Wear Red Day is celebrated on the first Friday of February each year to raise awareness about heart disease. People wear red to show support for heart health and to encourage others to do the same.

This is just a reminder that Ridgeview Elementary School All In Tutoring, will start back tomorrow, Tuesday, February 4th and will be held on Thursday, February 6th. Tutoring will be held each Tuesday and Thursday weekly and sessions will end at 5:30PM.
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Dickenson County Public Schools is offering additional after-school tutoring in reading and math for the 2024 -2025 school year for our children enrolled in Grades K – 4 at Ridgeview Elementary. We encourage you to allow your child to attend the All-In Tutoring after school program. Attendance and participation in the After-School Tutoring will count towards a child’s absences and chronic absenteeism status at the end of the school year. The All-In After School Tutoring Program will begin Tuesday, Feb.4, 2025, and will meet until mid-April 2025. Students in the After-School Tutoring sessions will be tutored in reading and math and meet weekly on Tuesdays & Thursdays. The sessions will last until 5:30 p.m. Students will be provided a snack after school, and if necessary, bus transportation will be provided. Please complete and return the form sent home to your child’s school.
Ridgeview Elementary classroom pictures will be taken on February 5th! Pictures will begin around 8:30 A.M.
