Student Athletic Game Passes will be on sale beginning Monday, August 11th. Join us at regular season home games for only $25 at year!
This message is for parents of upcoming pre-k 4 students at Ridgeview Elementary School. Open house for pre-k 4 students will be held this Friday, August 1 from 9am to 3pm. Parents and students are encouraged to visit and spend time meeting the teacher, exploring the classroom, and viewing the school. There will not be individual meetings scheduled. Please come planning to spend ample time getting to know our teachers and our school layout.
If you have any additional paperwork that is required in order for your child to begin school on August 7th, we encourage you to bring that paperwork with you as well.

This is an important announcement concerning Ridgeview Elementary’s upcoming open house that will be held on August 5 from 5-7pm.
All parents will be asked to visit the cafeteria to complete updated contact information paperwork upon entrance to the school. Third grade parents will meet at 5 in the gym to take part in a brief orientation while they are completing paperwork. Once paperwork is complete, your child will then be given classroom teacher assignments. Please come prepared with emergency contact information, allergies, and other pertinent information on hand to complete this paperwork.
During the open house your child will have the opportunity to meet their teacher, view and explore their classroom, and meet & greet new and returning classmates.
We will also have car tags available for parents who plan to take advantage of our parent pick up process. Staff members from our bus garage will be available to answer questions about our bus routes, driver names, and bus numbers.
There will be community organizations set up to offer school supplies and information about services related to school- in case you were not able to attend our Back to School Bask on Friday.
We are anxiously awaiting the beginning of our school year and look forward to seeing you and your child!

Tuesday, July 15, 2025 is our next food pick-up at the Ridgeview Campus. The parent/guardian food pick up is from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We have planned for more meals this time, but once all meals have been distributed the site will close. If a student is not enrolled in Dickenson County Public Schools, a form will need to be filled out on site. Students must be 18 years or younger.

Dickenson County Public Schools first summer food distribution will be on Monday, July 7th between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. The meal packs will consist of 8 breakfast and 8 lunches with a gallon of milk.
Please look for signs and the tent when you enter the Ridgeview Campus.
This is for any child ages 3-18 regardless if they are enrolled in DCPS schools or not. If a child is not enrolled, there will be a form that will need to be filled out which includes the child's name and name of adult picking up the meals.
First Come, first Served-We will give out until we run out!
